Margarett Louise (Cowart) Brechter

Mrs. Margarett Louise (Cowart) Brechter age 92 of Gainesville, Georgia left her earthly home on Friday April 17th, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness, Louise reached her heavenly home.

Due to the current global pandemic a graveside service will be held on Sunday April 19, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in Memorial Park Cemetery in Gainesville, Georgia. The family will have a drop-in visitation on Sunday April 19, 2020 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Reverend Phil Carpenter, Reverend Zach Johnson and Jon Samples will officiate. Serving as pall-bearers will be grandsons Brandon Brechter, Matt Duncan, Ivan Moore; Grandson in-law Jonathan Hopper; family friends Jeff Shoemaker and Brian Dale; Honorary pall-bearers son-in-law Jerry Moore, grandson Bart Brechter and great-grandson Cameron Moore.

Louise was born on April 25th, 1927 in Birmingham, Alabama to her parents Leland and Irene Cowart. Lousie married her husband Ralph Brechter of Juneau, Wisconsin in 1960, they were married 54 years. Together they travelled all over the world and raised three children, Ron, Brenda and Billy. Louise was a true southern lady, loved the Lord wholeheartedly and adored her family. She enjoyed sewing, shopping and spending time with her children, grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Louise was a strong and faithful follower of the Lord and was always willing to help serve those in need.

Louise is preceded in death by her husband Ralph Brechter, her parents, her brother and her great-grand-daughter, Holly Brechter. Louise is survived by her children Ron Brechter (Becky) of Gainesville, Brenda Moore (Jerry) of Gainesville and Billy Brechter (Kathy) of Gainesville. Grandchildren Ivan Moore (Amanda), Margaret Ann Hopper (Jonathan), Whitney Johnson (Zach), Brandon Brechter (Lexi), Maggie Brechter, Bart Brechter (Terri), Amy Germer (Miles), Aaron Brechter (Amy), and Lori Jordan (Rick), Matt Duncan and Michelle Duncan.  Louise is survived by cousin Mary Jo Gibbs and niece Ellen Cowart. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren and many dear family friends.
