Lois Louellen Hanson Phillips

Mrs. Lois Louellen Hanson Phillips age 91 of Flowery Branch, Ga passed away on Thursday April 16, 2020 at her residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday April 18, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Charles Shadburn will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday April 18, 2020 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Due to the current mandate from the Governor in regards to COVID-19 we can only have 10 people in the room at a time. 

Lois was born on February 16, 1929 in Buford, Ga to the late Leonard Hanson and Eula Whiting Hanson. She was a homemaker and a member of Mulberry Baptist Church. Mrs. Phillips is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Rev. Hoyt Phillips, and son, Harold Phillips. Mrs. Phillips loved her Lord and her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, every one of them were the loves of her life. She loved cooking good home cooked meals for her children also. She was loved by many and will be missed. 

Mrs. Phillips is survived her daughters and son-in-law’s, Delores and Donny Kimbrell of Cornelia, Linda and Paul Shadburn of Buford, Charlotte and Tommy Lee of Flowery Branch, son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Deborah Phillips of Gainesville, sons, Billy Phillips of Flowery Branch, Tony Phillips of Gainesville, sons and daughter-in-law’s, Charles and Jamie Phillips of Flowery Branch, Jerry and Connie Phillips of Gillsville, 18 grandchildren, 34 great-0grandchildren, 12 great great-grandchildren.
