Rafael Flores-Diaz

Mr. Rafael Flores-Diaz, age 74, of Gainesville passed away on Wednesday April 15, 2020 following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday April 17, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Father William Cannales will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday April 16, 2020 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. and Friday April 17, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Due to the current pandemic of COVID- 19 this will be a drop-in visitation per mandate of the Governor of no more than 10 people allowed at a gathering.

Rafael was born on April 18, 1945 in San Francisco, Durango, Mexico to the late Filiberto Flores-Villa and Catalina Diaz-Perez. He worked for precision concrete and was of the Catholic faith. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Rafael is survived by his wife, Maria Flores of Gainesville, daughter, Heremlinda Flores, son, Alfredo Flores, son, Roberto Flores, daughter, Blanca Flores, daughter, Elva Flores, son, Enrique Flores V., daughter, Carmen Flores V., and daughter, Maria Luisa Flores.
