Bill belonged to the Shriners, Scottish Rite Freemasons, V.F.W., and American Legion. He enjoyed investing in real estate, spending time on the Tennessee River, Lakes, Allatoona and Lanier, and pulling for his Tennessee Vols. His greatest passion was his family and his relationship with Jesus Christ. He was a caregiver to his bride for many years as she battled Alzheimer’s, all the while he was battling his own physical ailments. His love of Christ manifested in many ways, such as anonymous gifts to others in need and the abundance of love as a husband, father, and grandfather.
