Mrs. Zola Arlene Kidder Braidwood, age 88 of Sunset Lane, Toccoa passed away Saturday, April 11, 2020 at her home.
A daughter of the late Lawrence and Elva Carnahan Kidder, she was born May 24, 1931 in Flint, Michigan where she was raised, having lived in Toccoa for the last 26 years. She attended Owosso Bible College in Owosso, Michigan. She and her husband were Home Missionaries for the Souix Indians in South Dakota for a few years. She later graduated from Lansing Junior College with an Associates Degree. She enjoyed sewing and crafting and volunteering at Sunnyside Baptist Church where she attended. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Braidwood, by a son, Lon Braidwood and by a brother, Dale Kidder.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Daniel Evearitt of Toccoa; daughter-in-law, Ann Braidwood of Owosso, Michigan; sister, Lilah Bowles of Morganton, Georgia; sister-in-law, Penny Klawon and her husband Dave of Fort Gratiot, Michigan; brother-in-law, Duane Braidwood and his wife Michele of Canton, Michigan; sister-in-law, Nancy Kidder Wellman of Fenton, Michigan; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date in Memphis, Michigan.
