Sandra Presley Kiser, 72, passed away at her home surrounded by family on April 6, 2020 after an extended illness. She was the daughter of Bill and Bernice Presley.
Sandra was a devoted Christian whose life was a living example of Ephesians 4:32 ~ “be kind and compassionate to others, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.” She gave her life to the Lord and loved him with all of her heart, mind and soul. Sandra was a faithful member of Free Chapel Worship Center for over 25 years.
Sandra was born on July 1, 1947 and grew up in the New Holland community. She is a Gainesville High School graduate and attended Truett- McConnell College. Sandra retired from Northeast Georgia Medical Center after more than 30 years of service. She loved her job, her colleagues and all the challenges it brought. She was a problem solver and had a spirit of excellence in the workplace and in life.
She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as KK. She had a genuine and loving personality always making her grandchildren feel special. Upon her passing, each of her six grandchildren remain convinced that they were her favorite. She loved them more than words could ever express. So when words were not enough, pie, banana pudding and strawberry cake would have to do.
Sandra lead an active life full of adventure and lots of laughter. She enjoyed spending time with her close and lifelong friends. They each have wonderful and funny stories to share. Just ask them, they are more than happy to fill your ears! She will be deeply missed by her friends and family and all who knew her.
Sandra is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Sandi and Bob Ferguson of Cornelia, Georgia; son, Jeff Kiser of Gainesville, Georgia; grandchildren Rob Ferguson, Sam Ferguson, Ben Ferguson, Jeffery Kiser, Madi Kiser, Jessi Kiser; sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Marvin Peek and niece Kirsten Peek.
Friends and family are invited to attend the graveside service, following social distancing guidelines, set by the Governor. A graveside service will be held at 3 PM on Thursday, April 9, 2020, at Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Dwayne Welborn, Free Chapel Worship Center, will officiate.
