The Gainesville Parks and Recreation Foundation has been named a finalist for the Levitt Music Series Grant.

The Levitt Foundation awards three-year matching grants to U.S.-based nonprofits to present the Levit AMP Music Series, which includes seven to 10 free concerts each year within the non-profit’s community. The grant provides up to $40,000 per year of the program, for a total grant award of up to $120,000.

The grant aims to bring community to public spaces.

The foundation prioritizes community involvement within their projects, so finalists to receive the grant are selected through public voting.  To view all non-profits eligible for the grant and place a vote, click here. Voting officially ends on Sept. 15.
