A single-vehicle crash in southern Towns County Sunday night left a Cleveland woman dead.
The Georgia State Patrol said the wreck was on the Unicoi Turnpike (Ga. 17) in the area of Indian Grave Gap Road just after 9:30 p.m. Sunday. Kinsey Grice, age 21, was reportedly driving a Toyota Avalon west on the Unicoi Turnpike and went off the roadway for unknown reasons.
The car then overturned and fell roughly 80 feet down an embankment, landing on its roof. Grice was pronounced dead at the scene.
The state patrol said the crash remains under investigation as of Wednesday afternoon.
