SEC announces Bulldogs’ 2025-26 schedule

ATHENS, Ga. — The Georgia Bulldogs will open their Southeastern Conference slate by hosting Auburn on Saturday, Jan. 3, the first of six games against 2025 “Sweet 16” teams to visit Stegeman Coliseum this winter.

Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Ole Miss and Tennessee, which all reached the second week of March Madness, are also on the Bulldogs’ home slate, as well as additional NCAA Tournament participants Texas and Texas A&M. All told, 15 of Georgia’s 18 SEC contests this season will be against teams that participated in the NCAA tourney last spring.

Five of the Bulldogs’ nine home SEC contests will be on Saturdays. In addition to Auburn on Jan. 3, Georgia will also host Arkansas on Jan. 17, Texas A&M on Jan. 31, Texas on Feb. 21 and South Carolina on Feb. 28.

The league office announced the majority of weeknight games with a “Tuesday/Wednesday” designation to be finalized later, along with game times and TV designations.

The Bulldogs’ weeknight home dates are versus Ole Miss on Jan. 13/14, Tennessee on Jan. 27/28, Florida on Feb. 10/11 and Alabama on March 3/4.

Georgia is coming off its most successful season in a decade, which culminated with the Bulldogs’ first NCAA Tournament bid since 2015. That continued the upward trending UGA has enjoyed since head coach Mike White arrived in 2023. During White’s three campaigns in Athens, Georgia has ascended an average of 181.2 positions from the season prior to his arrival among college basketball’s six most utilized metrics.

The Bulldogs’ 2025-26 home slate will feature 18 games at Stegeman Coliseum, including a date with arch rival Georgia Tech on Friday, Nov. 14. Georgia will open the season on Monday, Nov. 3 by hosting Bellarmine in the second half of a doubleheader with Georgia’s Lady Bulldogs.
