Two brothers were left injured after their ATV collided with a vehicle Monday afternoon in southeast Hall County.
The Hall County Sheriff’s Office said a 13-year-old boy was driving the ATV on Burton Circle with a 4-year-old boy as the passenger.
According to the preliminary investigation, the vehicle was driving eastbound on Burton Circle when the ATV got on the roadway and caused the passenger vehicle to strike the ATV. The driver of the vehicle called 911 and remained at the scene.
HCSO deputies responded at around 5 p.m. and found the boys suffering from injuries.
They were both initially taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville. The 4-year-old was then transferred to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta/Arthur M. Blank Hospital with a broken leg.
The investigation is ongoing.
