The city of Winder is throwing a birthday party and is inviting the whole community.
Celebrate Winder returns on Thursday, July 11, from 6–10 p.m. at Jug Tavern Park to mark the city’s 132nd birthday with live music, food trucks and a fireworks show.
This year’s festivities will feature a performance by the ACE Party Band at 6:30 p.m. and also includes a variety of food vendors and a fireworks display at 9:30 p.m.
“Celebrate Winder is a great reminder of what makes this city special,” said Mayor Jimmy Terrell. “It’s always a joy to see families, neighbors, and friends come together downtown to enjoy a summer night filled with music, good food, and fireworks. I look forward to it every year—and I invite everyone to join us for this year’s celebration for an unforgettable evening together.”
VIP seating is available and each table includes seating for eight in a roped-off area, a center-stage view and access to a VIP bar line.
Preferred parking passes are also available for purchase.
“We look forward to welcoming the community to Jug Tavern Park for an evening that highlights the best of Winder—live music, great food, and a strong sense of community,” said Director of Special Events Talore Ruedt.
