Dawson County’s newest park is officially open.
Styles Park, named after the late Anne Styles, is located on 120 acres off of Highway 183 at 425 Rock Cellar Road.
Social media posts by Dawson County's Parks and Recreation Department noted that their department was fortunate to have the pleasure of knowing Ms. Styles before her passing, and as she planed to donate the land from her family's propoerty so Dawson county citizens could have a place to enjoy the outdoors in its most peaceful state.
The new park features a paved walking track, bike trails, walking trails, and will have on-site restrooms as well.
Styles Park amenities
- 5 miles of dirt trails (no motorized vehicles - e-bikes are permitted)
- 1/2 mile paved ADA-accessible loop
- Bike repair and cleaning station
- Restrooms on site
