Main Street in Downtown Gainesville will be closed to traffic from Washington Street NE to Spring Street on Wednesday, June 18.
The closure will be in effect from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
A release from the City of Gainesville Public Works Department said the closure is due to the ongoing Police and Fire Games, with multiple events taking place in the city throughout the week.
