The suspect wanted behind a shooting murder case in Hart County over the past weekend has been apprehended by athorities in South Carolina.
Hart County Sheriff's Office social media posted late Sunday night after 6:30 p.m. that Greata "Nikki" Nichole Thomas (a.k.a. Greata "Nikki" Nichole Mobley) was taken into custody in Abbeville, South Carolina. Thomas was wanted in connection to the homicide investigation from the Saturday, May 31 shooting death of Breiana Danielle Johnson of Royston.
Thomas had been missing since Saturday afternoon, having been last reported seen driving away in a 2008 Honda Accord that was found early Sunday afternoon near Iva, South Carolina.
Hart County Sheriff Chris Carroll has thanked the Anderson County (SC) Sheriff's Office, Abbeville County (SC) Sheriff's Office and South Carolina Law Enforcement Division for their assistance in the case, but further details behind what led them to Thomas' arrest have not been released at the time of this publication.

The Hart County Sheriff's Office is reporting that the vehicle of murder suspect 26-year-old Greata Nichole Thomas was spotted abandoned on a road near Iva, South Carolina just across the state border on Sunday.
Thomas is accused of shooting and killing 34-year-old Breiana Danielle Johnson of Royston.
More details have since emerged about the shooting, with Hart County authorities saying they were called to 45 Barton Road in Royston at around 5 p.m. on Saturday due to a shooting.
They located Johnson, who was suffering from a gunshot wound and later pronounced deceased.
The investigation remains active, as Thomas has not been located as of yet. Anyone with details on her whereabouts should contact the Hart County Sheriff's Office at (706) 376-3114 or dial 9-1-1.

Authorities are searching for a woman suspected of murdering a Royston woman on Saturday.
The Hart County Sheriff’s Office said Greata Nichole Thomas [Mobley], 26, shot and killed Breiana Danielle Johnson, 34, at 45 Barton Road, Royston.
Thomas is described as a white female, 5 feet 1 inch tall, weighing around 97 pounds and may be driving a 2008 grey Honda Accord with Alabama tag 13ABB80.
Those with information on the location of Thomas should contact the Hart County Sheriff’s Office at 706-376-3114 or dial 9-1-1 immediately. Do not approach the suspect.
The investigation is ongoing.
