A Young Harris man was arrested on Wednesday on a list of drug charges.
The Towns County Sheriff's Office said in a Friday social media post that James Harrell Moore III, age 44, was arrested after a search of a home on Woods Grove Road yielded methamphetamine. The investigation reportedly started with a traffic stop.
"Investigators conducted a month long surveillance and concentrated patrol in a drug complaint area, which led to a traffic stop on Wednesday," the sheriff's office's post said. "Information was obtained which resulted in probable cause to search a residence on Woods Gove Road."
Moore faces charges including possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
