A four-year-old was killed in a ATV accident on Sunday in Forsyth County.
According to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office and Fire Department, at around 7:45 p.m. a 16-year-old Cumming male with a four-year-old passenger was traveling eastbound on Valley Stream Drive. As the driver approached a sharp turn, he applied the brakes and turned but was traveling too fast for that maneuver, causing the ATV to overturn.
Both boys were thrown from the ATV. The 4-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene and the 16-year-old was transported to North Fulton Medical Center with minor injuries.
Neither boy was wearing a helmet. The case remains under investigation by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Specialist Unit.
