Gainesville's trolley system to return with expanded route

The city of Gainesville’s Trolley fleet will return Saturday with expanded services.
 
The free system from Hall Area Transit runs every spring and summer to transport residents  to and from Dixon Drive, Gainesville’s Midland area, Glenwood and Riverside Drive and the Chattahoochee Golf Club. 
 
 Ahead of the 2025 season, HAT added a Fair Street route, which will also make stops at College Avenue and Race Street, Prior and Center streets, College Avenue, Mill and Elm streets, Mill and Desota streets, Davis Street at trail crossing , NoFo Brew Co.,  Gordon Avenue, Parker and Grove streets at trail crossing, and Parker and Main streets. 
 
The system will run weekly from Thursday through Saturday until Sept. 6 with varrying times for specific routes.
