The Main Street Parking deck in downtown Gainesville is undergoing a renovation.
The City of Gainesville announced on Monday that two of the elevators at the parking deck, located at 301 Main St., will be modernized.
Two of the four elevators will be upgraded, one at a time, leaving two operational elevators available for public use while work is ongoing.
The City said the project, from start to finish, should take approximately 18 weeks, with each elevator car taking roughly six weeks to complete.
