Franklin County traffic stop leads to discovery of $170,000 worth of Methamphetamine

A traffic stop in Franklin County Saturday led to the arrest of two people from Kentucky and the seizure of nearly five pounds of Methamphetamine. 
 
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office said in a social media post that deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle near Owens Drive. and Ga.17 just after 10 p.m.  
 
The driver of the vehicle, Jonathan Andrew Goble, of Richmond, KY. attempted to flee. Deputies reportedly performed a PIT maneuver on his vehicle and Goble was taken into custody. A passenger, Lacresha Glover of Elkhorn City, KY. was detained and later arrested after a search of the vehicle revealed two large tumblers filled with methamphetamine. FCSO said the drugs were valued at $170,000. 
 
Goble and Clover were both taken to the Franklin County Detention Center. 
 
Goble was charged with the following: 
 
• D.U.I.
• Trafficking methamphetamine 
• Window tint violation 
• Possession of drug related objects 
• Felony fleeing and attempting to elude
 
Glover faces charges of trafficking Methamphetamine and possession of drug related objects, according to the post.
