A fire damaged a home on Highland Drive off the Orchard Road in Clarkesville on Tuesday morning.
Habersham County Emergency Services said when units arrived at the scene, they saw smoke and fire mostly contained to the home's garage.
Four residents were at the home when the fire broke out but were able to escape without injury.
Habersham County Emergency Services, the Baldwin Fire Department, the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office, and the Lee Arrendale State Prison Fire Department Team assisted in fighting the blaze.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation with the Georgia Fire Marshal’s Office.
