Gwinnett County will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, Mar. 11 on the Gwinnett Community Resource Center at Grayson Highway.
Gwinnett County officials said the event will take place at 2 p.m. at 1040 Grayson Highway in Lawrenceville.
The facility will serve as a community hub for programs that support mental and behavioral health, veteran and family services and childhood development.
The 84,232-square-foot resource center will be three stories and will include office space for County partners like View Point Health.
It will also feature a 30-bed inpatient crisis stabilization unit and a 23-hour temporary observation day center with a capacity to accommodate up to 15 individuals.
The project is financed through the American Rescue Plan Act.
Event speakers include Gwinnett Board of Commissioners Chairwoman Nicole Love Hendrickson, District 3 Commissioner Jasper Watkins III and View Point Health CEO Jennifer Hibbard.
Department of Community Services Director Lindsey Jorstad will emcee.
