The Federal Bureau of Investigation has announced a new leader for its Atlanta office.

Paul W. Brown has been named the special agent in charge of the Atlanta Field Office of the FBI, taking over for Keri Farley, who retired in fall of 2024.

Brown has been serving in the FBI's Mobile, Alabama office since February 2022. He's been with the FBI since 2006, previously working in a New Hampshire office.

Brown was promoted to a supervisory role in the FBI's Counterterrorism Division in 2012, also leading the North Florida Joint Terrorism Task Force from 2015 to 2018.

Prior to joining the FBI, Brown served as an officer in the U.S. Army. He has degrees from Western Illinois University and Tarleton State University.
