Officials in Lumpkin County are warning residents of scam calls about missed jury duty.
The Lumpkin County Sheriff’s Office said they will never call residents to ask for money because they missed jury duty. They added they have a victim of a scam every week.
The sheriff's office advises residents to hang up immediately.
