Class 3A No. 5 Cherokee Bluff will headline a handful of games on Thursday, traveling to take on Wesleyan on Thursday in Norcross.
It's a battle of two teams that made deep playoff runs in 2024, with the Bears advancing to the Class 4A championship series and the Wolves making the Class 3A quarterfinals. However, both teams have struggled early. Bluff (2-3) is coming off a crushing loss to Winder-Barrow in the bottom of the seventh. Wesleyan (0-2) is looking for its first win of the season.
