WINDER, Ga. — Winder-Barrow’s Cam Hodge smashed a walk-off home run in the bottom of the seventh to complete the Bulldoggs’ rally to beat No. 5 Cherokee Bluff 8-7 on Tuesday.
The Bears (2-3) led 7-0 in the top of the fourth inning when the Bulldogs began to mount the comeback.
The Bulldogs opened the inning with bases loaded when two batters reached after being hit by a pitch and a walk. Frankie Boyle scored on a passed ball, and Landon DuBose singled on the next at-bat, driving in two runs.
They continued their onslaught in the next inning, which started with two outs and then two walks. This was followed by a Kaleb Sorrell single, which produced two runs off an error on the play. Winder-Barrow added one more run on a DuBose single that scored Sorrell. The Bulldoggs tied the game a batter later on another single, scoring DuBose.
Before the rally, Bluff’s day was going well. Landon Kemp was 3-for-5. Ethan England was 2-for-3. Bryce Fontenot and Garrett Harper recorded one RBI each.
WEST HALL 5,
CHESTATEE 3
West Hall took a 5-0 lead in the second inning and held off Chestatee (1-3) to win on the road Tuesday.
The Spartans (2-1) got on the board in the top of the first inning off a Brett Sturm double, Santiago Lopez walked, and Chase Berger’s ground out, all scoring a run. They extended the lead to 5-0 in the second off singles by Connor Toledo and Drew Svetz.
Chestatee scored two runs off a Thomas Martens (2-for-4) double to right field, scoring Parker Grant, cutting the lead 5-2. Martens scored a battler later off an Ethan Dunn triple to close the gap, 5-3.
Jack Lamoine earned the win for the Spartans, giving up three runs on five hits. He struck out five.
NORTH GWINNETT 8,
NORTH FORSYTH 5
North Gwinnett scattered eight runs over five innings to knock off the Raiders at home on Tuesday.
North Forsyth (3-1) put four runs on the board in the top of the seventh, but the rally fell short.
Bryson Germanenko drove in three runs in the final inning off a home run to center field, and Colter Vela hit into a double play, scoring one run.

NORTH ATLANTA 5
The fourth-ranked Trojans (3-0) jumped on North Atlanta in the first inning when McKinley Kemp hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, Campbell Payton single, scoring a run, and Thomas Davis doubled, scoring two runs.
North Hall added two more in the second off a two-run home run by Smith McGarvey.
McGarvey picked up the win on the mound, giving up four runs on three hits over 4 1/3 innings while striking out four.
Davis led the Trojans at the plate, driving in three runs on a 2-for-4 day. Kemp, Payton and Davis all collected two hits each.
