GAINESVILLE, Ga. — The North Hall tennis teams opened their seasons on Thursday and split with The Galloway School.
The North Hall boys won 5-0 while the Lady Troajs lost 3-2 while playing one set to eight games.
For the boys, Jack Maddox (8-1), Griffin Keener (8-2), and Alex Crocker (8-3) swept the singles. The No. 1 doubles team of Brooks Dorsey and James Floyd won 8-5 and the No. 2 team of Easton McNair and Cole Grover took an 8-0 victory.
For the girls, win came from Ella Kate Canaday at No. 2 singles (8-1) and from Maggie Perry (8-3) at No. 3 singles.
Both teams will be back in action on Wednesday against Banks County at Piedmont College.
