Crash along Highway 365 in Hall County Wednesday morning injures two

By Steve Winslow Anchor/Reporter

A three-vehicle crash on Highway 365 in Hall County Wednesday morning has left two people injured after tying up traffic during the morning commute.

Georgia State Patrol says the 2023 Ram 1500 pickup truck driven by Anthony Navarro of Acworth was turning from Highway 365 northbound at White Sulphur Road with a flashing yellow light when it collided with the 2007 Acura TL of Brian Espinoza Diaz of Gainesville. Diaz was heading southbound on 365 at around 6:35 a.m. when Navarro's truck hit his driver's side of the car. The force from the collision sent Diaz's car into a third vehicle which had stopped on the White Sulphur Road southbound entrance ramp to 365, causing further damage and delays.

GSP's report indicated that Diaz and his passenger, Francisco Diaz of Flowery Branch were taken to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries.

The GSP report also said that Navarro has been cited for the wreck. No further details have been released.
