TIGER, Ga. – Rabun County showed off the rushing attack Friday night as they got past Bremen in a 24-21 win.
Rabun County jumjped out to a 14-0 lead before the Blue Devils got on the board in the second quarter, cutting the lead to 17-14 by halftime. Bremen took the lead early in the third quarter, 21-17, but the Wildcats scored with just under four minutes to go and held on to win.
The Wildcats threw the ball just six times, while rushing on their other 49 offensive plays. Reid Giles led the way with 209 yards on 28 carries, while Lake Evans, Noah English and Ty Truelove each had a rushing score.
Rabun County will open up region play next Friday night when they travel down to Homer to take on Banks County.
