The Boys and Girls Clubs of Lanier are getting geared up to host a car show for the Tim Lee Club in Habersham County.
The show will take place on Saturday, Sept. 21, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Habersham County Fairgrounds.
Ty’Asia Peoples, events and engagement coordinator for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Lanier said, “This event directly supports the Tim Lee Club in its efforts in inspiring and enabling young people in Habersham County to build confidence, develop skills, and unlock their full potential at our after-school programs.”
The event will have food vendors, entertainment and feature the North Georgia Automotive and Motorcycle Swap Meet which will be taking place simultaneously.
Those who attend should expect high-volume traffic and anyone interested in participating in the car show should arrive at 8 a.m. and will have to pay a $25 car entry fee.
Admission to the car show is free for spectators and car show visitors who wish to attend the swap meet will receive a discount off gate admission for that event.
