FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — Cherokee Bluff scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh to rally for a thrilling 6-5 win over Oconee County on Tuesday at Bluff Park.
The Lady Bears trailed 5-2 coming into the final inning but Kate Herren blasted a three-run home to tie the game. Later in the inning, after a double by Mac Warren and an intentional walk to Jaycee Archer, Quinn Kiewart singled in Warren with the game-winner.
Lillie Diehl got the win for Bluff, pitching the final inning. Archer started for the Lady Bears going five innings and giving up four runs on five hits in five innings.

The Lady Vikings scored four runs in the third and made it stand up in a road win on Tuesday.
Amari Burce had three hits and a pair of RBI to lead the offense. Burce also tossed a complete-game four-hitter while fanning nine to get the win in the circle.
Monroe Area took a 1-0 lead in the first but the Lady Vikings (3-5) grabbed the lead with their big inning. The Lady Hurricanes scored one in the fourth but only got two baserunners the rest of the way.
East Hall next will take on Cherokee Bluff on Thursday.
BANKS COUNTY 9,
COMMERCE 4
The lady Leopards scored seven runs in the final two innings to rally for a win home on Tuesday.
Cylee Whitfield had three hits and two RBI but it was Peyton Gaylor’s two-run double in the fifth that gave Banks County (8-1) the lead for good.
Gaylor also got the win in the circle allowing four runs while scattering five hits and three walks. She fanned four in seven innings.
Kaylee McVay had a two run single in the first for Commerce. Camden Thomason had two hits and an RBI for the Lady Tigers.
