GAINESVILLE, Ga. — Chestatee's Ben Plemons helped the War Eagles break the program's 11-game losing streak with a three-touchdown night in the 27-21 win over Franklin County last week.
The junior running back rushed 21 times for 171 yards and three scores.
The War Eagles offense racked up 309 total yards on the ground.
Plemons' performance earned him this week's Gaining the Edge Player of the Week.
