HCSO makes final arrest from "Operation Good Shepherd"

By Will Daughtry News Reporter

The Hall County Sheriff’s Office said they made the final arrest in an undercover sting from earlier this year called “Operation Good Shepherd.”

The operation, which spanned from January to February of this year, saw over 20 suspects get arrested for crimes including electronic exploitation of a minor, drug possession, and prostitution.

38-year-old Richard Gerrin Hall of Monroe was transported from the Walton County Jail to Hall County on Monday for a single charge of felony sexual exploitation of a minor.

Officials say the warrant for Hall’s arrest was obtained in January after voice and text conversations revealed his intention to have a meeting for drug use and sexual relations with someone he believed to be under the age of 16.

Hall remains in the Hall County Jail with no bond.
