Georgia State Patrol and safety departments throughout Habersham County responded to a multiple vehicle wreck Thursday morning that injured three people just outside of Demorest.
A release from Habersham County Spokesman Rob Moore says the wreck along Cannon Bridge Road (State Route 105) at Smith Loop Road involved two vehicles which collided just before 7:45 a.m.
Habersxham County Sheriff's Office, along with the Demorest and Cornelia Fire Departments assisted the GSP units in securing the crash scene. Habersham Emergency Services transported two unidentified people to Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC) in Gainesville from the scene with minor injuries while a seriously injured juvenile was rushed by Air Life Georgia to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA).
Exact cause for the crash and the identies of those injured have not been released, as the GSP contines to investigate the details.
