By Will Daughtry News Reporter

A months-long investigation in Barrow County has led to multiple arrests for child molestation.

Several search warrants were served by the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office this morning, leading to six adults being taken into custody on multiple counts of child molestation among other charges.

Officials say the crimes occurred on Englewood Road in Winder over a span of roughly five years.

The investigation began when four juveniles disclosed the allegations of sexual abuse to forensic interviewers following the removal from the home last year by the Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS).

The adults charged are as follows:

  • 32-year-old Paul Andrew Bean of Winder was charged with multiple counts of child molestation sodomy, aggravated sexual battery, cruelty to children, and incest.

  • 22-year-old Ashley Nicole Neese of Winder was charged with multiple counts of child molestation and cruelty to children.

  • 55-year-old Kavin Eugene Neese of Winder was charged with multiple counts of child molestation, false imprisonment, aggravated sexual battery, and cruelty to children.

  • 24-year-old Jerry Lee Neese, Jr. of Winder was charged with multiple counts of child molestation and aggravated sexual battery.

  • 57-year-old Keith Allen Neese of Winder was charged with multiple counts of child molestation and aggravated sexual battery.

  • 50-year-old Felisa Michelle Bailey of Winder was charged with multiple counts of child molestation and cruelty to children.

The six suspects were arrested at four different locations.

“I want to thank the Loganville Police Department, and the Jackson and Hall County Sheriff’s Offices for their assistance in getting these suspects behind bars,” Barrow County Sheriff Jud Smith said. “The effort to arrest these suspects simultaneously at four different locations required incredible coordination between our deputies and law enforcement partners.”

Barrow County officials say the investigation is ongoing and additional charges are anticipated.
