Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) has been recently named as one of the best employers for women in the country.
GCPS made Forbes’ list of, “America’s Best Employers for Women”, for 2024. Forbes partnered with market research company Statista to survey more than 150,000 women at companies which have a minimum of 1,000 employees. GCPS ranked 40th in the education industry and ranked 207th overall.
GCPS's Chief Human Resources Officer Cathy Hardin says that the honor, " is a testament to our commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace where everyone, regardless of gender, can thrive. Our hiring practices emphasize equity and opportunity, and our culture is one that values diversity, collaboration, and growth.
In the recent GCPS release, Hardin adds, "Being named to this prestigious list highlights the hard work and dedication of our entire team in creating an environment where women feel empowered and respected.”
