Two Clarkesville adults charged in relation to hit and run in White County

Two Clarkesville adults have been charged in relation to a hit and run in White County on Saturday.

On June 22, 23-year-old Evan Windham of Sautee, Georgia was riding his bicycle on Highway 17 when Angela Stoval-Post struck him with her vehicle according to officials.

65-year-old Stoval-Post and her passenger, 73-year-old George Randolph Holcomb were found away from the incident with damage to her vehicle from allegedly striking Windham.

Holcomb was charged with a hit and run resulting in serious injury and was booked on Sunday, spending one day in jail before being released on a $2,500 bond. 

Stoval-Post was charged with failure to maintain lane, hit and run, a DUI, failure to report an accident with injury, and serious injury by vehicle. She was booked on Saturday and spent two days in jail before being released on a $2,500 bond.
