A Buford man was arrested Saturday on multiple drug charges after a traffic stop on Friendship Road near Williams Road in South Hall County.
The Hall County Sheriff's Office said a deputy stopped Brady Patrick Lockwood, 19, at around 3:45 p.m. after Lockwood was spotted driving a vehicle with an expired and fraudulent operating permit.
During the traffic stop, the deputy allegedly observed two blank dealer stock license plates on the vehicle's floorboard. The deputy then called for backup and asked to search Lockwood's vehicle.
The search allegedly uncovered a small amount of marijuana, a yellow oil substance that field tested positive for synthetic cannabis, a grinder, rolling papers and a small bottle of bourbon.
Lockwood was arrested on misdemeanor charges of removing/affixing a license plate with intent to conceal vehicle identity, possession of marijuana, less than 1 oz., possession and use of drug-related objects and underage possession of alcohol.
He was also given a felony charge of possession of synthetic cannabinoids.
Lockwood remained in the Hall County Jail as of Monday afternoon.
