Several people were injured when a car crashed into a Burger King restaurant on the south side of Lawrenceville Tuesday.
A social media post by the Lawrenceville Police Department said the car crashed into the store on Grayson Highway near Gwinnett Drive. The vehicle went into the dining area, reportedly causing minor injuries to multiple customers inside.
The driver, whose name has not been released, was also injured and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Lawrenceville police officials said that driver will face charges including reckless driving.
Police said the restaurant is now closed.
