Event Name: Winder Memorial Day Ceremony

Event Details: The City of Winder will remember those who served with an event that includes a keynote speaker, as well as the City‘s Police and Fire Honor Guard. Light refreshments will be provided prior to the event.
Event Name: Cleveland Memorial Day Ceremony
Event Date & Time: Memorial Day, May 27, 9 a.m.
Event Location: Freedom Park, Cleveland
Event Details: Honor those who served as the local high school ROTC will present the colors and the Honor Guard will present the 21-gun salute and perform Taps. The ceremony will honor each brand of the military.
Event Name: Helen Memorial Day Ceremony

Event Details: Join us as a retired U.S. Army Colonel will be the guest speaker honoring those who served in all branches of the military.

Event Details: The long-awaited aquatic center for Lumpkin County is now opening just in time for Memorial Day Weekend! A ribbon-cutting ceremony will follow with the pool, slides and lazy river open for fun! Opening Day will also have some giveaway prizes.

Event Name: Midland Music Festival
Event Date & Time: Saturday, May 25, 5 p.m.
Event Location: Arts Council Smithgall Arts Center, Gainesville
Event Details: This music festival will be held outdoors at the Smithgall Arts Center. Enjoy local brews, delicious food, and of course, great music. SkynFolks, a Lynyrd Skynyrd Tribute Band, will be headlining for the event. Other bands include a Van Morrison Tribute Band, and a local band, GoodFolk. Tickets are $30 presale and $35 at the door.
