The Gwinnett County Police Department is looking to identify a suspect wanted in connection to a forgery and motor vehicle theft case.
Gwinnett County Police officials said two suspects met with the victim on Jan. 12 to buy a vehicle. One of the suspects was identified as Javon Maurice Fayson, 25 of Snellville.
Fayson took the vehicle for a test drive while the unidentified suspect stayed and talked to the victim.
The suspect allegedly provided the victim with a fraudulent $26,900 check to buy the vehicle.
Officials said the vehicle was discovered on Jan. 14 in Dekalb County.
Fayson was arrested and is being held in the Gwinnett County Jail on charges of Felony theft by taking and forgery in the 4th degree.
