Gwinnett County authorities locate two missing teens

According to a Gwinnett County Police press release on Monday, May 6, 2024, Evan Rivera and Piper Norton-Womack have been located and are safe.

Gwinnett County Police detectives have asked the public for help locating two missing teens. 

Gwinnett Police officials said Evan Rivera, 16 of Duluth and Piper Norton-Womack, 17 of Lawrenceville were reported missing by their families on Apr. 24 and 25. 

Evan Rivera's family last saw the two juveniles in Atlanta.

The teens are known to visit locations around downtown Lawrenceville near the Days Inn on State Route 120 and State Route 316.

Rivera is described as a black male, standing five foot nine inches tall and about 155 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, black sweatpants and a colorful “Smurf” backpack.

Piper is described as a white female, standing five feet two inches tall and about 190 pounds.  She has long brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a pink sweatshirt with black leggings, glasses, and a black book bag. Piper has both her ears pierced and a blonde streak in her hair.

Those with information on the whereabouts of the teens are encouraged to contact 911.
