A Clermont man was arrested Thursday as part of a child pornography investigation in Hall County.
The Hall County Sheriff's Office said in a press release that Sean Aiden Millwood, 19, was arrested at the sheriff's office headquarters, and then transported to the Hall County Jail where he remained as of Friday morning with no bond.
The investigation began after the sheriff's office received a cyber tip from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
Investigators determined Millwood was in possession of at least four videos of children being sexually molested between April 8 and 10, 2023. He also allegedly shared those videos on the Discord social media app.
As a result, Millwood was charged with eight counts of sexual exploitation of children, four counts for possession of the material and four counts for distribution.
The sheriff's office said additional charges were anticipated as the investigation proceeds.
