A rapper from Memphis, Tennessee was arrested on driving under the influence charges in Suwanee early Tuesday morning.
A report from the Suwanee Police Department said Gloria Woods, age 24, who goes by the stage name "GloRilla," was arrested after a traffic stop on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard near Vista Point Lane around 4:15 p.m. Tuesday. The arresting officer in the case said he saw Woods disobey a traffic signal, leading to the stop.
"While speaking to Woods I immediately noticed her eyes to be watery and bloodshot," The report from the arresting officer said. "I could smell the odor of marijuana coming from within the vehicle along with the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her breath."
The officer then conducted a field sobriety test on Woods, during which, Woods reportedly accidentally exposed herself to the officer. Woods was then arrested as a result of that test and taken to the Gwinnett County Jail.
Woods has since been released on just under $2,000 bond. She faces charges of DUI, open container violation and failure to obey traffic control device.
