Jackson EMC said the foundation awarded a total of $104,457 in grants through the Operation Round Up program.

Grants are made possible by the 214,717 cooperative members who have their monthly electric bills rounded to the next dollar amount through Operation Round Up.

The program has funded 1,927 grants to organizations and 429 grants to individuals, which has put more than $20.4 million back into local communities since the program began in 2005.

Organizations in the ten counties served by Jackson EMC may apply for a Foundation grant by completing an application, available online at https://www.jacksonemc.com/foundation-apply or at local Jackson EMC offices.  Applicants do not need to be a member of Jackson EMC.
