Schools in White County are open, per usual, for today, but there will be an early release for students and staff during the upcoming solar eclipse on Monday, April 8.
The White County School System's social media page posted the pre-announced early release, as a precaution for their students Monday afternoon. All of their schools will be releasing students at 1:00 p.m.
Parents of students are advised to check emails from the White County School System to find our more details on the early release.
