One person was transported to the hospital Thursday afternoon after a three-vehicle wreck near Georgia 136 and Short Road in northwest Hall County.
Georgia State Patrol Officials said a Honda Pilot driven by Malinda Foote, 59 of Gainesville, was driving east on Price Road and slowing down to turn left into a private drive.
A Nissan Sentra driven by Bartolo Perez, 28, of Gainesville, was allegedly driving closely behind Foote. Perez tried to avoid hitting the Honda but failed to do so.
GSP officials said after the initial impact the Nissan crossed the roadway and hit a Chrysler Pacifica driven by James Rose, 54, of Winterville, who was driving west on Price Road.
Perez was cited for following too closely and was uninjured.
Foote and three juveniles complained of injuries.
Rose had minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
