A press release from the school district this week announces that Dr. Aaron Scott has been selected as the recipient of the 2024 HCHS Lifetime Achievement Award.

Scott served as the Chief of Nuclear Medicine at Piedmont Healthcare in Fayetteville, Georgia after a tenure with the Rockdale Medical Center. The Habersham County press release adds that Scott then served as the Nuclear Medicine Program Director at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, where he was responsible for the program administration, evaluation, instruction and counseling of students and staff.
He is currently serving as president of the Capella University Chapter of the National Society of Leadership and Success and is the Nuclear Medicine Technology Representative on the Maryland Board of Physicians. Dr. Scott will be honored with the award presentation during the Habersham Central High School's Class of 2024 graduation ceremony in May.
