FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — Cherokee Bluff moved into a tie for second place in Region 8-4A with a dominating 7-0 win over North Hall on Tuesday at Yonah Field.
It was the fifth straight win for the Lady Bears (8-3, 5-0 Region 8-4A), who are now tied with Walnut Grove (7-3, 5-0 Region 8-4A). They will have a chance to take over second place all alone on Thursday traveling to take on the Lady Warriors.
Despite playing with an injured knee and a knee brace, Kaitlin Cook recorded a hat trick to lead the offense. Bristol Kersh added a pair of goals and Carson DeMars and Eva Martin found the net once each for the Lady Bears.
Keersh added two assists and Martin one for Cherokee Bluff.
