A Gaineville teenager has been identified as the person arrested after a pursuit that left multiple people injured in Forsyth County Thursday afternoon.
Stacie Miller with the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office said the teen is facing a long list of charges, with more expected to come, following the incident on Ga. 400 near Cumming. Officials said deputies attempted to pull over a silver Dodge Durango around 3:30 p.m. when the driver sped away, leading to the pursuit.
Multiple other vehicles on the highway were struck by the Durango, leading to multiple injuries, with at least one being serious according to the Georgia State Patrol.
The teen is facing charges of reckless driving, fleeing or attempting to elude, theft by receiving a stolen a firearm, possession of both marijuana and LSD with intent to distribute, and driving on a limited permit.
The juvenile suspect's name is not being released per Georgia law.

Multiple people were injured Thursday afternoon after a pursuit on GA 400 near Cumming.
The Forsyth County Sherriff’s Office said deputies pulled over a silver Dodge Durango for a traffic violation at around 3:30 p.m.
As the deputy approached the car the driver sped off. The deputy pursued the Durango.
Within about 3 minutes additional deputies assisted by deploying stop sticks to deflate the tires and shut down the southbound ramps of GA 400.
According to officials, the driver continued driving erratically passing additional law enforcement vehicles and striking multiple motorists.
Multiple injuries have been reported.
Georgia State Patrol Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team (SCRT) responded to the area and is investigating.
The driver is being investigated for suspected DUI.
