A new restaurant off Winder Highway in unincorporated Flowery Branch is set to bring authentic Korean and Japanese cuisine to South Hall County.
The Haus, located in the former Si Fu Ginger location next to Kroger in the Royal Lakes Marketplace plaza, began accepting takeout and Grubhub orders on Tuesday.
Co-owners Sora Park and Ha Park own the new restaurant, along with their husbands. Sora Park and her husband also own popular Korean eatery Poetree Cafe in Suwanee.
Sora said the restaurant offers similar flavors to what one may find at Poetree Cafe, with several changes and additions.
"We're offering street food like ddukboki, the spicy rice cakes, kimbab, stir fry, hot stone bowls and fried rice," Sora said. "Like fusion Korean food."

Ha Park said the location seemed like a natural fit.
"There aren't any other Korean restaurants around here," Ha said. "We thought this would be a good challenge for us and a good opportunity to start a business here."
The business is currently accepting take-out orders by phone, as well as by Grubhub. An order can be placed by calling (678) 696-5270. The business will open for dine-in service on Tuesday, March 12.
